Hi, I’m Manu or 高敏 [Gāo mǐn]

I’ve never been to China, but I hope to do so at some point. This blog is a place where I share my journey in Chinese and offer pointers and resources. How am I qualified?

I’ve been learning Chinese since I was in college, back in 2007. I stopped for about three years which means I’ve been learning chinese for 7 years. After I graduated from Reed College in 2011 I moved to Bogotá, Colombia because I wanted to go back to my roots. I was originally born here in Colombia and my Mom and I moved out to the states when I was 8. Here, I finished another undergrad degree in Philosophy and got my French B2 certification. This past year I graduated with a Masters in International Relations, which then puts me at 3 degrees and 4 languages (I’m English-Spanish bilingual).

Feel free to browse through the blog and write me with any comments or questions.

    1. I updated the link, but the posters are not free, the shipping is, though they do have a black friday deal where you buy a poster and they give you another free.
